They saw how it was being done…. and said, “we’re doing it differently.”

No roadmap.
No support.
No paycheck for years.
A pandemic 18 months in.
And babies in the middle of it all. Because why not. 😏

And still… they built it.

An award-winning hospital.
A powerhouse team of women.
A business that actually cares - about pets and people.

Oh - and they didn’t stop there.
They’re now helping other women step into ownership too.

This is what it looks like when you stop waiting… and just go for it.

If that little voice in your head has been whispering “what if”… this is your sign.

Contact me if you’re building something bold - I want to feature you.
She Means Business.

Two women.
Zero apologies.

Behind every successful brand is a face people trust. And trust begins with visibility.

If you’re building something extraordinary… your presence should reflect it.

High-level women don’t hide.
They lead.

DM me if you’re ready for your brand to match your ambition.

You finally stopped waiting for the “perfect time“.

The kids are growing.
The sunsets keep showing up.
In one day, this season will just be… a memory.

This is your reminder to be in the photos.
Not when you lose 10 pounds.
Not when life slows down.
Not “next year“.

Now.

which one are you in right now?
The quote “we need updated photos” stage
The “I’ve been meaning to call” stage
Or the “we’re overdue by 5 years” stage?

Tell me below. I’m curious.

She Means Business: Dr. Maryam Sickinger

when confidence meets compassion, you get someone like Dr. Maryam Sickinger - founder of Advanced Institute of Dermatology here in San Clemente.

From helping patients feel beautiful in their own skin to leading a thriving practice while raising three amazing kids, she truly embodies balance, grace, and success.

It’s been such an honor photographing Maryam in her family over the years - and capturing this next chapter of her story for my She Means Business series

because when women stepped in front of the camera, something powerful happens -- they see themselves the way the rest of the world already does.
