Preemie Newborn Photography | Orange County

This is Atlas and he is such an awesome little dude! He was almost 2 months old when he came in for “newborn” session at my San Clemente portrait studio. He was a preemie and born significantly early and had to stay in the NICU at CHOC. If you have had babies, you know how hard this can be on the parents. When they have to go home and leave there sweet little new baby bundle in the hands of doctors and nursery. Luckily, the doctors and nurses are always remarkable!

Atlas was pretty awake during the parent posing, but I was completely okay with that because he was so calm in his mother’s arms.

With 10 years experience in newborn photography here in Orange County, I’ve learns lots of tricks to soothing babies and getting them to sleep. Sometimes though they just want to be awake and see what is going on around them. I do love getting those awake shots too!
