This is baby boy Weston. He was born a bit earlier then his mom expected so he came to visit me at my Orange County newborn studio when he was about 6 weeks new! He was such a great sleeper and we were able to get so many adorable set ups and poses with him. I always ask parents about the nursery decor as well as their home decor and wood tones so that I can style the session so the wall art they decide to invest in will match perfectly in their home.
When parents bring in props of their own it always gets my creative juices flowing. They brought in this large stuffy elephant and I just loved how I incorporated it into the newborn session with Weston. He’ll come back for his sitter session in about 7 months and I can’t wait to see how he has grown next to his elephant.
This elephant basket that the parents brought in was purchased at Pottery Barn Kids. Even though they don’t have this one available anymore there are so many other adorable elephant shaped baskets online right now!
